Laminar configuration
The WQSD series configuration consists of 2. 2-turn laminar seals against the shaft. When excessive contamination is present in the environment or a worker requires additional protection, laminar seal rings can be used in combination to provide additional sealing. This application doubles the WQSD ring arrangement by placing a second set of rings in an additional groove to increase the sealing effect. This combination has a third ring installed to create an additional maze.
Application
